How many times have you been in dire need of a shower, in a place that doesn’t have a shower? At a festival? At the end of race? After your lunchtime run when your office doesn’t have a shower? Well there’s now a solution!

Introducing Pump It Up’s dry body wash, yes, pretty much just like dry shampoo – your perfect post-running refreshment.

How does it work?

Have you ever seen those fancy soaps that are liquid in the bottle, but turn to foam when you use the dispenser? Just like that.

And really from there, it’s as simple as applying it to your skin and letting it dry, which it does so really quick.

The dermatologically approved product aims to ‘kill the bacteria that causes body odour’, while leaving your skin clean and moisturised.

What’s it like?

It’s a really good concept, and it’s a surprise it’s only come out now.

Applying the product is easy, and as stated before, it dries really quick. The only downside is that the spearmint and lime scent that we received here at MR received a mixed reception. While some really liked it, others thought it reminded them of the fragrance spray that is sometimes used in public toilets. The smell does linger on your skin for a little while too.

As for how it feels on, it’s a good temporary fix. Your skin feels a little odd at first, it tingles, almost like anti-bacterial gel (which it essentially is), but after a while the tingle fades and everything’s relatively normal.

The skin does a feel a little muggy, due to the texture of what you’ve just rubbed in, but obviously the major plus side of that is that you’re sparkly clean.

But it will never replace a shower.

Does it come in other scents?

The good news is that it does, so if you’re not a fan of the spearmint and lime, there’s always Coconut or Cucumber Fresh!

How much does it cost and where can I buy it?

Pump It Up don’t actually have a website, but you can buy it from Boots here, for £3 per 150mL bottle.
