Starting from the iconic Promenade des Anglais in Nice and finishing on the world famous Boulevard de la Croisette in Cannes, runners can enjoy the autumnal Mediterranean climate and the superb atmosphere at this popular French Marathon.
Since the event launched in 2008, participants have praised the breathtaking beauty of the course between Nice and Cannes that crosses five emblematic French Riviera towns: Saint-Laurent-du-Var, Cagnes-sur-Mer, Villeneuve-Loubet, Antibes Juan-les-Pins and Vallauris Golfe-Juan. The International appeal of this young event is growing, attracting more and more runners not just from France, but from all over the world, drawn in by the warm climate of the French Riviera and the promise of some winter sun.
The race draws in quite a crowd with 100,000 spectators expected to gather along the route to cheer on and show their support to the 13,000 runners who can all say ‘I was there’.
