Parkinsons Spooky Sprint MR Web

If you like your races to be a little different, then this could be one for you! Parkinson’s UK is daring you to take part in the Spooky Sprint – a 5K or 10K race in the dark, with only a head torch to light your way. Up for it? Then you’re in for a unique running experience – one that will test your nerve as well as your fitness!

With two great locations to choose from – either the National Water Sports Centre in Nottingham on 1 November 2014, or the Hop Farm in Kent on 15 November 2014 – all runners will receive a great medal and technical T-shirt once they cross the finish line. And don’t worry – you won’t be left in the dark during the race: you’ll be given a head torch to wear as you tackle the course. There’s fun for all the family, too – bring your little monsters along to take part in the 500m Family Fun Run!

Your entry fee ensures a safe and enjoyable event, but it’s your fundraising that will help Parkinson’s UK to find a cure and improve life for everyone affected by Parkinson’s. So do your bit and help the charity reach its goal by aiming to raise £100 in sponsorship.
