The Perkins Great Eastern Run, which takes place on Sunday 12 October at 10.30am, is growing in reputation. Last year, the race attracted record numbers against a backdrop of several races reporting a decrease in entry numbers or static take-up at best.

Entries to the half marathon were up by 20 per cent from 2012 and the Anna’s Hope fun run enjoyed a massive 85 per cent boost in sign ups.
