The MS Society has places available in this year’s Great North Run on Sunday 13 September. Run alongside 50,000 others through the heart of Newcastle knowing that every step you take is making a difference.
MS attacks at random and many of the symptoms are invisible to others. You’re usually diagnosed in your twenties or thirties – news that can be scary and heartbreaking. One day you can be fine, the next you might lose your sight or be unable to move.
The MS Society is the UK charity fighting to improve treatment and care to help people with MS take control of their lives. And they’d love for you to join their team.
With a registration fee of just £35 (minimum sponsorship £300), MS Society offers a whole host of support to make sure your experience up to race day is enjoyable. From providing a running vest, training tips and fundraising ideas and an on-the-day experience like never before (check out their very own Double Decker cheering bus en route!), they’ll be with you every step of the way.
