The event has good prizes, and has a Special Prize Giving Evening in April to present them all.
The leader in trialing Chip Timing, and now has the Race Number incorporating the computer chip, A special train service from London, FREE parking and park and ride, free quality race programme, free race results, lots of entertainment on route, and the incredible spectator support that is unique to Hastings.
Add to that the hot drink at the finish and the unique ‘Hastings’ Brass’ to all finishers, it shows that the event tries to give good value to entrants.
And not forgetting over five million pounds raised for good cause, that we are aware of! Situated normally a month prior to The London Marathon, it is ideal training, as it is probably worth a 15-mile run due to the hills, but the last third is downhill and flat along the seafront.
It may not be the fastest Half Marathon you will run, but as mentioned earlier, some very fast times have been achieved, including many PB’s.
