Yesterday, Men’s Running reported the story of Netty Edwards, a female runner who was asked to withdraw from the Spen 20 after only a mile – for running too slowly.
The story subsequently went viral with both Facebook and Twitter bursting with runners from all backgrounds wanting to voice their opinion on the matter.
