runbritain had its first ever clock clicker on Friday at the On the Green Series in Glasgow.
Richard Cooper, who has a handicap of 1.7, ran theĀ 3k event in a personalĀ best time.
He did, however, record a negative improvement asĀ it wasnāt good enough to count for one of his five best performancesĀ for the handicap calculation.
Races are graded based on terrain, difficulty of the course and weather. This could mean Richard may have run slower somewhere else but that was then judged as a better performance.
This new handicap campaign has only recently launched and if you’re a little confused, find out more here.
