The London Marathon is one of the top five international marathons and with over 40,000 runners, it really is an extraordinary event to be part of.
Lisa Hardy ran the 2015 London Marathon for Dyslexia Action. “If you’re lucky enough to be offered a London Marathon place by this amazing charity support them with everything you can and then some. Was the experience as much or more than I expected? Without a doubt. Would I do it again? Without hesitation!”
Why support Dyslexia Action
Dyslexia affects 1 in 10 children and adults in the UK. Having the right support for children with dyslexia and literacy difficulties is crucial for their future development. Without that support, the effects of dyslexia can be devastating; many children are left struggling, feeling worthless, alone and stupid. Throughout the UK, Dyslexia Action’s Learning Centres offer vital diagnosis, support and tuition through their highly trained specialist teachers.
