The Standard Chartered Jersey Marathon is celebrating its 10th Anniversary on Sunday 4 October 2015, and you could be there enjoying this extra special event in less than one hour’s flight time from a number of major UK airports.
This niche marathon, which is located just 14 miles from France, offers runners a scenic and varied run course around the western half of the Island. The event is hugely popular with locals and their generous support justifies its reputation as a friendly and welcoming marathon.
The event attracts hundreds of runners of all abilities from all over the world and the race itself consists of three race categories; Marathon, Relay Race and a 3K Fun Run. Travelling marathon runners are often accompanied by friends, family and fellow club runners, many of whom opt to take on the fun Relay Race whilst enjoying a weekend away.
