#extramile is the first social campaign at the London Marathon from headline sponsors Virgin Money.

extramile.co.uk will pull all marathon related content that you share on Twitter or Instagram using #extramile, and will then display it on a collective timeline – bringing the individual journeys of 37,000 runners together.

Track your progress, share your journey, and look back with pride at your 2015 marathon journey.

Every week extramile.co.uk will run themed competitions, where you can win prizes just for sharing your marathon experiences. Whether it’s a photo of your first training session, the recipe for your ultimate post run snack, or your favourite sunny day running track – simply share using #extramile, and the weekly competition #hashtag to be in with a chance of winning some great prizes, including donations to your charity.
