Get a team together or prepare to run solo, in this 12-hour off-road event against the clock

The Conti Lightning Run is back! On 3 May 2015, this 12-hour off-road race against the clock will see you complete as many laps of the 10K trail course as you can in the time. For those with ultrarunning ambitions, you can run solo – or if you’d rather share the load with friends, run in a pair or as part of a team of three, four or five runners. The bigger the team, the bigger the break between laps!

THE COURSE
The Conti Lightning Run takes place in Catton Park, Walton-on-Trent, on a scenic 10K cross-country circuit through the stunning Staffordshire countryside. The course will feature plenty of tough off-road challenges to keep you on your toes as you complete each 10K loop.

THE WEEKEND
With the option to camp on the Saturday night before the 6am start on Sunday, why not make a weekend of it? It’s a great event for family and friends, too. Bring them along to support you as you take on this exciting running challenge. There will be on-site catering and shower facilities as you rest and recover from what promises to be a tough test of your fitness.
