This is a simple bodyweight routine that will build power while giving you a cardiovascular workout. See how many of the following you can perform in a 15-minute period: 15 stars jumps, 15 squats, 20 lunges (10 on each leg).
Star jump
- Stand with your feet together and you hands by your sides
- Jump up, part your legs and clap your hands above your head
- Return to the starting position
Squat
- Stand with your feet hip-width apart and your hands by your sides
- Bend your knees to a 90-degree angle, with your hands out in front, trying to keep as straight a back as possible
- Return to the starting position
Lunge
- Stand with your feet hip-width apart and your hands by your sides
- Take a large step forward with your right leg, bending to a 90-degree angle
- Return to the starting position. Alternate legs.
