Lunchtime run session

Running at lunch helps you keep fit and ditch the excuses

This run takes less than 25 minutes and the premise couldn’t be simpler.

The Session

  • Perform a quick dynamic warm-up – one round of this should do it.
  • Start your watch and run at a steady pace in one direction for 12 minutes.
  • Once the 12 minutes is up, turn around and run at threshold pace back to the start.
  • Get your pacing right and you should run a negative split (run the second half of the run quicker than the first).
