Men’s Running CALM 10K #RaceForAMate

Alistair Brownlee made global headlines when he helped his exhausted brother Jonathan cross the finish line in the World Triathlon Series event in Cozumel – giving up his own chance to win the race in the process.

Meanwhile Swansea Harriers’ Matthew Rees was hailed a hero when he selflessly sacrificed his own race at this year’s Virgin Media London Marathon to help struggling David Wyeth from Chorlton Harriers finish the 26.2-mile event.

This is the spirit of the Men’s Running CALM #RaceForAMate 10K, taking place in London’s Finsbury Park on October 7th: that special bond that only runners form united in a single cause to do something for a charity that works tirelessly to raise awareness of mental health issues amongst young men across the UK. For every entry, Men’s Running will be donating ÂŁ2 to CALM. Open to both men and women, this is a chance to do something great for a special mate!
