It’s National Fitness Day. The annual celebration of all things fitness will see hundreds of clubs and leisure centres opening theirs doors to welcome you for free. Lots of venues are laying on a ‘Power Half Hour’ where you can get a quick hit of aerobic exercise for free, while there are mass participation events happening in London’s Covent Garden, Birmingham’s Victoria Square and Bristol’s Central Promenade. In the spirit of things, we’ve put together a quick 20-minute lunchtime exercise routine. Enjoy!

20-minute exercise routine:

  1. Warm-up jog (5mins)
  2. Mini circuit: squats (x40), Lunge walks (x100), wide squats (x40)
  3. Easy running (3mins)
  4. Mini circuit: 100m sprints (x10) with 30secs recovery
  5. Warm-down jog (3mins)
