Arla Protein is high in yep, you guessed it, protein. It is also however, low in sugar, fat free, and made from all natural ingredients.

Each pot of Arla Protein contains 20g of high quality protein – an essential nutrient for growth and repair of tissues and for the production of hormones and enzymes which are essential to the correct functioning of the body. Naturally coming in handy for recovery after a speedy or long run!

Made with quark– a fresh, natural dairy product – Arla Protein contains the same amount of protein as five egg whites or a medium chicken breast and, it contains a naturally higher concentration of protein than a standard yogurt.

The 200g pots are available in raspberry, blueberry and strawberry flavours and are actually quite a refreshing way to end your run in the coming warmer months. It’s a new range from Arla, who are normally known for their Anchor and Lurpak butters, so how does it taste?

Not bad, and pretty much just like yogurt. Which is good, because of you’re not a fan of all these supplement products, you wouldn’t necessarily know you were taking any. Especially if you just replaced it with the yogurts you eat now.

The one criticism the team had, was that it leaves you a little dry in the mouth. I was forever sipping water after each spoonful, which can be a common issue with some yogurts.

But, if you’re looking for a tasty alternative to your usual pre and post workout snack, it definitely adds for variety. You can find it in the yogurt aisle nationwide at all major retailers at around £1.25 for 200g pots.
