Run the St David’s Day Run for the MPCT

If you looking for the motivation to stick to your new year’s resolution to get fit and stay fit beyond January; why not sign up for the St David’s Day Run on 5 March 2017. The event is an annual affair which sees hundreds of runners return year on year to run through a key spot in Cardiff’s Bute Park.

The Motivation and Learning Trust (MPCT) is a charity that supports, develop and enhance life opportunities for young people, and they have St David’s Day Run charity places for those who want to run for a good cause, or just want to run for fun in our 10k, 5k and 1k race.

The race was founded by Mr Huw Lewis MBE over 14 years ago, it grown the race year on year, his passion to support young people and offer them life changing opportunities has enabled all profit from the race is donated to, The Motivation and Learning Trust. The 10k race is sponsored by Cancer Research Wales.

All three races are accessible to families (T&C’s apply), we encourage the fittest, or those getting fit to experience the fun and exhilaration of finishing a race, no matter what distance you choose, whilst enjoying the stunning surroundings of Bute Park, Cardiff near Cardiff Castle.

This race is not to be missed. This is a great race to run if you are considering a marathon, half marathon or future 10k and don’t feel you are quite there yet, it is a fantastic stepping stone into your next challenge.
