The Fruit Shoot Mini Mudder, is hoping to inspire the next generation of ‘Mudders’ to explore their adventurous sides and have fun together, while experiencing the power of teamwork.

But fear not, parents: your child won’t be expected to endure 12 miles of military-esque training. Each Mini Mudder course will run for a much shorter one mile and will consist of four laps around a loop of 10 obstacles.obstacle-gooey-shoes

The obstacles include the playfully named, Gooey Shoes – a slimy, slippery surface that must be conquered with shoes tied together – and Secret Agent Squeeze – an exercise in the art of espionage, as your child will have to stretch and slip through cracks of the ‘laser’ maze. Along with the slightly more sinister Tunnel of Terror, and the aptly titled Mount Mud – which really needs no further explanation.

Will Dean, CEO and Founder of Tough Mudder, spoke of the event’s partnership with soft drink company, Britvic, as well as his excitement for the year ahead: “Given the strong family turnout and participation at our events, it was a natural fit to work with Britvic to enhance the on-site experience for children and their caregivers. Our obstacle innovation and engineering teams have worked closely with Britvic for the past year to perfect the event, and we’re looking forward to welcoming our first Mini Mudders on course.”
