The stunning city of Bristol boasts two great road races in 2015 – the spring Bristol 10K on 31 May and the autumn Bristol Half Marathon on 13 September. Both races start close to the city centre from Bristol Harbourside – and with excellent transport links from all over the UK, its easy to get to Bristol and back in a day, or a great place to spend the weekend.

Why run?
We all know regular running is a great way to exercise, especially if you start off slowly with walking and jogging. It’s then easier to build up speed and stamina. And there’s plenty of evidence to show that regular exercise can help to achieve weight loss, raise self-esteem, improve sleep and relieve stress, as well as reduce health risks associated with heart disease and strokes.

Runbristol – your New Year resolution
Both the Bristol 10K and Bristol Half Marathon races offer would-be runners and seasoned athletes alike the chance to set personal training and running goals. So, what better way to start 2015? Make that New Year’s resolution and make 2015 a runbristol year!
